Who Am I?
My pronouns are He/Him. I am a game developer, coder, artist, blogger, and community advocate. I help run Louisville Makes Games (LMG), a non-profit organization in Louisville, Kentucky dedicated to supporting game makers in Louisville and the surrounding area. You will find a link to the LMG website on my Links page, check it out!
I primarily work with LÖVE, but I dabble in many other tools like LÖVR, P5.js, Bitsy, or Flickgame.
My art tends to take the form of small video games, creative coding, or writing.
Proficiencies: Lua, JavaScript, JSON, REST, OAuth, HTML/CSS (though don't call me a web developer!), FHIR, HL7v2, Rhapsody, Epic, Cerner (and CCL), Linux, Microsoft Office, and probably more...
The boring stuff:
University of Louisville Health from March 2020 to present
With UofL Health, I was the lead Integration analyst for their Epic EMR rollout before transitioning to my current role as an all-around Integration developer. I am Rhapsody Certified, Epic Certified, and Cerner certified. I develop HL7v2 and FHIR interfaces and regularly work with applications teams and project managers to design workflows, data flows, and scope projects.
Cerner Corporation from August 2016 to March 2020
At Cerner, I was a Senior Integration Consultant in three different areas: BMDI, FSI, and Disaster Recovery. I developed interfaces for projects, and helped mature Cerner's Downtime solution.
Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) from March 2013 - August 2016
At ABS I served as the primary technician in the on-boarding of Volunteers of America as a client, and then moved onto work at Jewish Hospital and KentuckyOne Health. There, I helped with the rollout of Allscripts software to all of the clinics, and then with the rollout of the Cerner EMR to all of the hospitals.
